Brendan has been with Zutec since 2011 and has served as Business and Operations Manager Ireland & UK before being appointed the CEO in January 2016. The CEO role covers being very active in marketing, sales and expanding the company.

Brendan is educated at Blackrock College and Dublin Institute of Technology from where he graduated with a BTech in Building Services Engineering. As CEO for Zutec, Brendan’s relevant experiences covers years of work within Building and Construction having worked as Contracts Manager, Electrical Coordinator, Project Manager, Heading of Building Development and Facility Management between 2008 and 2011.

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Age: 38

 

Michael is the CTO and co-founder of Zutec. He has been with the company since it was formed in 1999. Michael is an accomplished software technologist and leads development and delivery of all of Zutec’s software products.

He currently manages a large team of software creators. Michael recently implemented the ISO 27001 standard for Zutec’s information systems.

Other achievements include leading a joint venture with National University of Ireland (Galway) and University College Dublin in researching and developing building energy simulation tools.

Cliona Farrelly

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Age: 38

 

Cliona brings a wealth of domestic and international experience, having served in senior financial roles in private equity, property and shipping sectors. Cliona held a senior role in CIT Group Partners, a London based property private equity firm. She also worked with Golar LNG, a US Nasdaq listed shipping company and was centrally involved in both the IPO of Golar LNG Partners, and the private placement of Golar Energy on the Oslo Bors.

 She is a business and economics graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and trained and worked with PwC in both Dublin and London.
