With 82 stories ranging in use from 5 star hotels, penthouses, offices and restaurants, the building was opened in 2012 by the Lord Mayor of London and now attracts thousands of visitors every week to the special viewing station on the 68th floor.

Zutec was brought in by the client, The Sellar Group, to manage the snagging and commission process, using the Zutec Snagging & Defect Management tool. Working with tablets in the field, the team were able to identify, monitor and sign off snags and ensure a smooth handover of the building in 2013. Following the successful handover of The Shard, Zutec was then engaged on The News Building.

Now in operation Zutec is continuously used as the source of truth of these developments, with tenancy and refurbishment works continuously updated and uploaded on to the system.
