Brookfield Multiplex

A project of this size was always going to need an advanced PDMS system and that is where Multiplex believed that Zutec had the solution. This would be attributed mainly due to the scale of the project, but also, the types of Fabric & Services installed on this project are very advanced/modern.

From the ETFE roofing to the Helipad, and the AGV underground system to the Building Maintenance Unit, this is a very modern project and the client needed an advanced handover facility like the Zutec system to match.

The Zutec System on the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital is mainly used as a Project Database Management System and Snagging & Defect Management tool for completing and sharing Digital Operation & Maintenance Manuals.

The setup here also assists with Project Handover by eliminating hard copy delivery. Zutec on the Glasgow Project ensured timely completion Digital Operation & Maintenance Manuals, As Built Drawings, Health & Safety files, Building Log Books, Asset & Equipment Schedules and Compliance Documentation.

All the Asset Registers and Equipment Schedules were migrated to the NHS FM Management team to suit their format, so there is great flexibility with what the client can do with all the information gathered throughout the project.

The key aspect in relation to this project is a good customer relationship and the service delivery offered. In theory, companies can have an inadequate system and still have a good relationship which would enable them to progress. But Zutec can not only offer a good system but they offer a great support service and this project has got it all – which is a ‘win win’ situation for all parties involved.
